Invited Speaker

Susanne Bodker (dr. scient., PhD, born 1956) is professor of human-computer interaction at the Computer Science Department, University of Aarhus. Her research areas include participatory design, computer-supported cooperative work and human-computer interaction. Susanne B¯dker has been co-managing a national research center of human-machine interaction, and several projects where researchers have cooperated with industrial partners and with users of the future technology. She has participated in many projects from Utopia to EU projects EuroCODE and Palcom. She is currently managing the Ubiquitous User Interface Design project and eGov+. Her scientific production includes 90 internationally published papers and books (www.daimi.au.dk/~bodker). She is associate editor of ACM ToCHI and International Journal of Human-Computer Studies. Susanne Bodker has been a key person in building up HCI teaching at the University of Aarhus (Computer Science and Multimedia), at undergraduate as well as graduate levels.
